Five Critical Strategies=One Critical Pitch

I am not sure what I was expecting. Everybody wants new customers. I suppose I was looking for some new formula which was going to shed light on how customers think. This was of course billed as personal development. Instead the pitch man for Prospectiv Jere Dolye talked about how critical it is to use a partner like...for example Prospectiv to handle your client relationships.

The five things were Select Target Collect Analyze and have a Dialog with your customer. Which is what we all try to do on a daily basis. So there was no Holy Grail there. The idea that you have to build your own list of customers and talk to them is basic. And to give them credit Prospectiv does it well. Their client Lumesta gave a tesitmonial presentation to that fact.

It is true that many companies collect data but never take a look at it or leverage it. Personally I do not fill out webforms or consider them a dialog. I consider it giving to get. I may have already won too many times to be fooled again.
