Color, Curves, Culinary Delights Infuse Terra Nikki Beach Party
Maybe it’s the heat. Maybe it’s the culture. Maybe it’s the low threadcount style of dress among the Miami-attendees. Maybe it’s something else, but it’s nothing like New York.
Anyway, now that we have that out of the way, we can move on to more important things such as how great the Terra-sponsored party at Miami’s Nikki Beach was and why Miami ad:tech parties now own the top spots on the ad:tech party quality scale. The venue’s orange-curtained, white-couched interior was comfortably inviting. The food was plentiful and delectably fulfilling. The drinks were whatever you wanted them to be. The music was great. The venue was elegant. The service was superb. The beach-side atmosphere was unlike anything you will find in New York. The wait staff smiled and actually conversed pleasantly with you. During the evenings of most ad:tech conferences, we have to trawl around the host city to make sure we cover the extensive party scene each night yields. Not so during the first night of ad:tech Miami. While there may have been smaller parties around town, none likely compared to the scale and quality of the Batanga-hosted opening night party held at the Royal Palm Hotel on Miami Beach.
Quite possibly, this was the best party we’ve attended in the four years we’ve covered ad:tech conferences. This was no Crobar.

We found it. We finally found it. Not that you care but we finally found the ad:tech Miami Speaker Party. It wasn’t at 5PM Monday night as some said but at 7PM at the second floor, indoor/outdoor bar where, unlike most continental U.S. ad:tech shows, English was, by far, the least spoken language in the room as speakers from Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Venezuela and countless other Hispanic and Latin American countries congregated to meet, greet and motivate for the following day’s conference kick off.

It’s sunny. It’s warm. It’s the beach. Why hurry home after the second day of ad:tech Miami when you could stay and attend the Terra Beach Blast the night of Wednesday, June 27 at 8PM at Nikki Beach. Latin-themed music will be provided by Suenalo and a yet to be announced artist.
Remember, register before the first day of the conference and you’ll have the chance to win a free expo pass.
